The role of Lustleigh Parish Council is to serve the needs of the local community. The council is the first tier of local government and has the main aim of improving the quality of life and the local environment.
Lustleigh Parish Council works as a team to provide a service to the community. Led by a chair the council is given advice and administrative support by the clerk, Lis Wallace, who is the only employed member of the team.
When you see your councillors out and about do talk with them about local issues, they will be keen to listen. The parish council meets on the second Thursday of each month, with the exception of August when no meeting is held. The meetings are open to the public and take place in the village hall meeting room, starting at 7.30pm.
